Fam1st Foundation was founded by Oakland natives Josh Johnson, Marshawn Lynch, and Marcus Peters to create real pathways of support for young people.
The foundation is built on family values, community responsibility, and the belief that access, care, and relatable leadership can help change the trajectory of a young person’s life.

The West Oakland Youth Center is a safe and supportive space where young people can learn, explore, build relationships, and develop their talents. Through academic support, enrichment, creative programming, mentorship, and community connection, the center helps youth grow in confidence, skill, and self-awareness.
